Taekwondo is a traditional martial art originating in ancient Korea dating as far back as 37 BC. Sometimes called “Korean Karate”, taekwondo is now an Olympic sport with over 20 countries competing for the gold medal. Taekwondo is a sport, science, and art-form that not only teaches incredibly powerful selfdefense techniques, but also develops great values, habits, and great character qualities in its students. Fitness & Fun Gymnastics offers a reputable taekwondo program. In addition to the best martial arts training in our community, our taekwondo program provides outstanding instruction on character and leadership development, plus promotes a passion for “excellence” in all areas of our students’ lives.
